The reaction of the President of the FFF after the announcement on Tuesday March 17 by the UEFA of the postponement of Euro 2020. It will take place from June 11 to July 11 2021.

"The French Football Federation fully supports UEFA's decision to postpone Euro 2020 from June 11  to July 11, 2021 and to adapt the formats of the European competitions accordingly. The international matches scheduled for March, including the two French national team matches on March 27 and 31 at the Stade de France, will logically be postponed to June.

This wise and pragmatic decision by UEFA fully reflects the urgency and priority of collective action to fight against the coronavirus, while giving consideration to the completion of the national professional and amateur championships, which could last until June.

All possible options will be studied to be proactive when activities resume. The FFF's sole concern is to make the best decisions, by considering all the actors in football, in order to best respect equality and limit the impact of this crisis. The world of football must be united, responsible and exemplary".
