Accord FFF et fédération centrafricaine

FIFA, the FFF and the Central African Football Federation signed a three party cooperation agreement on Thursday, March 1-2 at the Federation's headquarters in Paris.

Noël Le Graët, president of the French Football Federation (FFF), signed Thursday at the headquarters of the Federation a cooperation agreement with FIFA and the Central African Football Federation (FCF). This agreement falls within the framework of the Protocol concluded between FIFA and the FFF in December 2018 in terms of football development (Forward Programme).

The FFF's support for its Central African counterpart will take the form of technical support, provided by the Direction technique nationale (DTN), for the training of coaches and youth, and the development of basic practice.

This three party agreement was signed in the presence of Véron Mosengo-Omba, Director of the FIFA "Member Associations" Division, Célestin Yanindji, President of the Central African Football Federation, Régis Lionel Privat Dounda, Minister of Youth and Sport of the Central African Republic and Laurence Fischer, Ambassador for Sport at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (photo below).

In front of the members of the FFF Executive Committee also gathered, Célestin Yanindji praised "the immensity of French football know-how, double world champion. Our football is going to benefit fully from this cooperation agreement and the FFF's high level of technical expertise. It's a bit as if we were signing this morning the birth certificate of the development of Central African football".

Reaction from Noël Le Graët (President of the FFF):

"It is with pride and pleasure to implement this partnership with the Central African Football Federation. For the FFF, this partnership is a concrete expression of the protocol signed with FIFA and its President Gianni Infantino in December 2018 in Paris. It is a recognition of the French know-how in terms of training. African and French football maintain a relationship of collaboration and constructive and natural exchanges, a relationship of proximity, esteem and mutual friendship".
