Six UEFA Nations League 2020-2021 matches and two friendly matches are on the books for the French team in September, October, and November. Some match dates have changed.

Didier Deschamps' players will be back on the pitch on September 5 in Sweden for their entry into the second edition of the UEFA Nations League. 

In this competition, the 2018 World Champions will play in Group 3 of the A League, with Croatia and Portugal as opponents. The dates for the October and November events have changed.

The Tricolores will also play two friendly matches this autumn, on October 7 and November 11, 2020, against opponents and at venues yet to be made official.

• Saturday September 5, 2020 (Nations League): Sweden-France
• Tuesday September 8, 2020 (Nations League): France-Croatia
• Wednesday October 7, 2020: Friendly match
• Sunday October 11, 2020 (Nations League): France-Portugal*
• Wednesday October 14, 2020 (Nations League): Croatia-French
• Wednesday November 11, 2020: Friendly match
• Saturday November 14, 2020 (Nations League): Portugal-France*
• Tuesday November 17, 2020 (Nations League): France-Sweden

The French team has not played a match since Sunday November 17, 2019 and its win (2-0) in Albania in the Euro 2020 qualifiers (rescheduled from June 11 to July 11, 2021).
