FFF AGAINST VIOLENCE

The FFF is set to launch an awareness and mobilisation campaign against all forms of violence and discrimination. New information, support, and reporting tools are being deployed for clubs, districts, leagues, youth centres, and training centres.

The message is clear: "Stop Violence and Discrimination" is the slogan of the prevention and mobilisation campaign being launched by the French Football Federation in the fight against all forms of violence and discrimination, including sexual and sexist violence, racism, antisemitism and homophobia.

This campaign, which is aimed at all football related audiences - licensees, players, coaches, supervisors and volunteers - is part of the FFF's Commitment Plan originally initiated in October 2023 by its president, Philippe Diallo.

"Awareness, information, training, reporting and support tools are necessary to prevent and take action against incivility, violence, and discrimination, which have no place in football," says Philippe Diallo, President of the FFF. "In this preventive action, we have a responsibility to firmly apply the necessary disciplinary measures and to ensure that administrative and criminal responses are provided for the most serious offenses. Through its values of respect and tolerance, and its diversity, football is a formidable vector of inclusion and cohesion that contributes to living together. The positive social and cultural impact of our sport, with its 2.4 million licensed members, its 400,000 volunteers, and its 12,000 amateur clubs in urban and rural areas throughout the country, is real. And I would like to salute the commitment and mobilisation of those involved in our sport, every day, on the field."

One of the main goals of the "Stop Violence and Discrimination" campaign is to raise awareness and inform, particularly in the case of young licensees, and to provide back up for educators and managers in their own support efforts. Various tools for children, adolescents, and educators and managers of clubs, districts, and leagues have been made available.

New “J'alerte” Platform

The FFF's "J'alerte" reporting platform is now accessible to all football audiences via a QR code. It allows any victim or witness to report incidents of physical, psychological or verbal violence, harassment and cyberbullying, sexual and gender-based violence, LGBT+ phobias, racism, antisemitism, the failure to respect the principles of secularism and neutrality, or breaches of integrity. They can also receive support in their actions and efforts from a dedicated team within the FFF's Commitment Department.
