Philippe Diallo : “Recognition for quality Referee”

The reaction of the president of the French Football Federation following the announcement of François Letexier as the best referee in the world for 2024.

Philippe Diallo (FFF president) : “I extend my warmest congratulations to François Letexier for having been named as the best referee in the world for 2024 by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.

This distinction rounds off a particularly successful 2024 for François Letexier, which has seen him officiate the European Championship final, the final of the Coupe de France, take part in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and now be named the number 1 referee in France.

This title is also a form of international recognition of the quality of the refereeing of François Letexier, and, more generally, of that of the FFF.”
