Denmark, Norway and Uruguay at the Tournoi de France

The French Football Federation is pleased to formally announce the three new teams that will take part in the 3rd edition of the Tournoi de France alongside the French women's team. 

France will face Denmark, who currently sit in 18th place in the FIFA rankings, Norway, ranked 11th and Uruguay, ranked 67th, during the 3rd edition of the Women's Tournoi de France, to be played between Monday 13th and Tuesday 21st February inclusive in Angers (Maine- et-Loire) and Laval (Mayenne), in the Pays de la Loire League. 

Winners of the first two editions in 2020 and 2022, France will play their first match against the Danes at the Francis-Le-Basser stadium in Laval, before facing Uruguay and finally Norway at the Raymond-Kopa stadium in Angers. 

All three of the French women's team matches will be broadcast live by W9. 

This will be the first international meeting of the year 2023 for Corinne Diacre's players, five months before the World Cup is scheduled to begin in Australia and New Zealand (To run from July 20th to August 20th), where they will find in their pool Jamaica, Brazil and a third opponent whose identity will be known at the end of February after the qualifying play offs. 

Denmark and Norway have also qualified for the 2023 World Cup.
