France U21s to face Germany and Belgium in September
The France Under 21 team, “Les Espoirs”, will play two international warm up matches, firstly against Germany and then against Belgium in September 2022.
The France Under 21 team, “Les Espoirs”, will play two international warm up matches, firstly against Germany on Friday 23rd of September (KO 6:15 p.m.: Venue to be determined), and then against Belgium, on Monday September 26th at the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes (KO 9 p.m.).
These two meetings are part of the preparations for the UEFA Euro Under 21s 2023 (With the tournament taking place in Romania and Georgia from June 21st to July 8th, 2023). France’s U21s qualified by finishing top of their group with 26 points (8 wins, 2 draws), ahead of Ukraine (23 points), and Serbia (12 points).
This is the third consecutive qualification for a final phase of the European Championships for the France U21 team (Following on from 2019 and 2021), led by Sylvain Ripoll.
