Denmark and Tunisia on the menu for les Bleus

Friday 1 April 2022 - 19:30 - Philippe Mayen

France will face Denmark and Tunisia in the first round of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (November 21st – December 18th). Their third and final group opponent will become apparent in June.

Les Bleus thought that they would learn their three opponents for the group stage of the 22nd FIFA World Cup tonight. They only know two for certain, however: Denmark (11th in the FIFA rankings) and Tunisia (35th). They will now have to wait until mid June to find out who, from the United Arab Emirates (Ranked 68), Australia (Ranked 42) or Peru (Ranked 22), will complete Group D, in which the Friday night draw made in Doha placed them.
