FF Academy Montréal

Following in the footsteps of New York and Singapore, the FFF is continuing to export its footballing know-how by opening a new FF Academy in Montreal (Canada).

The academy, based in Quebec, will accommodate young players aged between 6 to 16 years of age for internships and summer camps whose programs are directly inspired by those laid out in the “Pôles Espoirs” initiative created by the French Football Federation.

They will therefore benefit from the know-how of qualified trainers, who will be in close contact with the National Technical Department (DTN) of the FFF. This inauguration is an opportunity for Jean-Claude Lafargue, former Director of the INF Clairefontaine and current trainer in charge of international training, to share his experience, and to train and advise the coaches of the academy in their supervision work on a daily basis.

The children were also surprised to be given an opportunity to see the World Cup trophy up close, and to capture the moment on camera.
