The FFF is delighted to announce the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Djibouti Federation of Football (FDF) as part of the FIFA Forward programme.

The validation of the three party partnership between FIFA, the FFF and the FDF was officially made formal on Tuesday at the FFF headquarters, in the presence of the president of the FDF, Souleiman Hassan Waberi (pictured on the right of the photo), by Kenny Jean-Marie, Director of Associations of FIFA members (left), and Noël Le Graët, President of the FFF and member of the FIFA Council.

This expansive and ambitious agreement takes the form of various technical training courses in order to sustainably develop both men's and women's football in this French speaking African nation. “Through this collaboration”, believes the president of the FDF, “it is all of the key components of Djiboutian football that will evolve and move forward: The training of coaches, training of players, standards of refereeing, marketing and infrastructure".

"This collaboration makes it possible to combine FIFA's Forward program with the willingness of the FFF to support its sister associations in Africa", explains Kenny Jean Marie. In recent months, the FFF has committed to three other associations in the same vein with the Central African Republic, Congo and Mali.

“It is with pride and pleasure that we implement this cooperation with the Djiboutian Federation, said Noël Le Graët. “This support program provides a formidable tool for development, support and exchanges between our two countries ".
