Seven representatives from French women's football are among the winners of the UEFA Awards for the 2019-2020 season.

Despite the 2019-2020 Player of the Year award finally going to Danish international striker Pernille Harder, who transferred from VfL Wolfsburg to Chelsea FC this summer, French football has a prominent place in the prize list revealed by the UEFA on Thursday October 1.

Five French players are place among the last season's top ten. Wendie Renard, 11 points ahead of Harder (81 vs 92), is second on the podium. Delphine Cascarino (5th), Eugénie Le Sommer (6th) and Amel Majri (7th), her teammates at Olympique Lyonnais and Les Bleues, follow her and precede Parisian Marie-Antoinette Katoto (9th).

Sarah Bouhaddi and Wendie Renard also received the Champions League goalkeeper and defender of the season awards (awarded for the first time), with Jean-Luc Vasseur, their coach at OL, winning the women's team coach of the year award.
