New record for Olympique Lyonnais

Olympique Lyonnais won the Arkema 2019-2020 Division 1 championship, its fourteenth consecutive title, a record.

Looking back at Olympique Lyonnais' fourteenth consecutive Arkema Division 1 title at the end of the 2019-2020 season (see the decision of the FFF's Comex) figures. Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain will be the two French women's clubs represented in the next edition of the Champions League, as the two French clubs are still competing in the 2019-2020 edition suspended by UEFA due to Covid-19 (competition stopped at the quarter-final stage).

The number of French women's D1 championship titles won by OL Women, a record since the first French women's first division championship in 1974. They are ahead of Paris FC (ex-FCF Juvisy), VGA Saint-Maur (six each) and the Stade de Reims.

The number of goals scored by the OL, best attack ahead of the PSG (60). The Lyonnaises have the best defence (4 goals conceded), ahead of the Parisian women (7). The defensive record is held by the OL and goes back to the 2011-2012 season (3).

The number of points accumulated in sixteen days by Olympique de Marseille (6) and FC Metz (2), the last two rankings and relegated to the women's Division 2.

The biggest victory of the season, achieved by PSG against Olympique de Marseille on January 18th on the 13th day. It is also the most prolific match of the season, equalling that of the match between Reims-Olympique Lyonnais Stadium on the 2nd day, September 7, 2019 (3-8). The OL also had the biggest away win (0-8), also at the expense of OM, on February 8 for the 15th day.

The German international Dzsenifer Marozsan of Lyon is the record setter of this edition (12), in front of Nadia Nadim (PSG, 8) and two other women from Lyon, Delphine Cascarino and Amel Majri (6).

The number of points obtained by the Stade de Reims, one of two promoted with the OM, finished eighth and will stay in D1 Arkema next season.

The number of goals scored by PSG international Marie-Antoinette Katoto, top scorer with an average of one goal per game. She is ahead of OL Norwegian international Ada Hegerberg (14) and Bordeaux's Les Bleues des Girondins Viviane Asseyi and PSG's Kadidiatou Diani (12 each).
