New dates for international competitions

The Bureau of the FIFA Council has decided on new dates for certain final phases of international competitions.

FIFA announced on Tuesday new dates for three of its competitions scheduled for 2020 and postponed to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic (subject to changes in the situation):

► FIFA U20 Women's World CUP 2020: from January 20 to February 6, 2021 (in Costa Rica and Panama). France, European U19 Women's Champion in 2019, qualified for this final phase.

► FIFA U17 Women's World CUP 2020: from February 17 to March 7, 2021 (in India).

► FIFA Futsal World CUP 2020: from September 12 to October 3, 2021 (in Lithuania).

 

FIFA clarifies that the eligibility criteria initially set for the qualification of players for these events are maintained.

In addition, the 70th Annual FIFA Congress, scheduled for Friday June 5 in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), will be held "online" on Friday September 18, 2020.
